We would love you to take care of your jewels, if treated with care your LUONE pieces will last a lifetime and become treasured family heirlooms (which for us is very exciting!).

Ideally take your jewellery off when you get home and pop it back on when you leave the home, we understand this isn’t always ideal though jewellery is delicate and should be treated with care. We do recommend removing jewellery before cooking, general housework, gardening and sporting activities including swimming. Be conscious of door handles, shopping trollies and any other hard/rough surfaces which could scratch or damage the handcrafted metal surfaces and precious/semiprecious gems & pearls.

Dress rings and diamond rings should be cleaned professionally at least once a year and claws should be checked (especially if the piece is being worn daily). Gold and sterling silver jewellery should be polished with a high quality silver/gold cloth that is non-abrasive.

For necklaces or bracelets strung on silk, due to the fine nature of this material, we advise that periodical restringing occurs to maximise the lifetime of your piece.

All of our jewellery is accompanied by a pouch/box, perfect for storing your jewels when they are not being worn. Jewellery should not be tossed directly into toiletry bags or handbags without protection of a pouch/box – precious metal may be bent out of shape & liquids such as perfume, moisturisers, tans etc may mark or react with the metals, gems & pearls.
